A newly created opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused Assistant Management Accountant to join the finance team of a specialist financial services organisation with a unique public-private structure and a national economic mission.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and timely month-end schedules, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
Deliver monthly expense reports with detailed variance analysis and commentary to budget holders.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by compiling and analysing relevant financial data.
Collaborate with teams across the organisation to improve financial visibility and commercial insight.
Leverage Power BI and other tools to enhance internal and external reporting capabilities.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance systems and processes, driving automation and efficiency.
Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and submitting required documentation.
Support ad hoc projects and initiatives that align with the finance team’s strategic goals.
About You
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or actively studying towards qualification.
2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally with exposure to commercial finance or business partnering.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
